All you need is love November 19, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — superhare @ 9:52 am

“No matter what or who you are, no matter where you live we have something in common – the need in love. To love and to be loved is the most important thing in the world of all the times” – affirms a young lady Natalia Bloomberg, the author and organizer of the project “Virtual Wife”.

The statement “amor odit inertes” (lat. Amour cannot take the lazy ones) is not actual anymore. You don’t have to suffer from the foul weather under the sweetheart’s window while singing out of tune the song from Titanic – her favorite one. You don’t have to scorch your fingers with the boiled water while preparing her a breakfast with the eggs and coffee.

The project “Virtual Wife” is an attempt to make everybody feel that they are needed and loved. It keeps your nerves and money safe and you don’t have to do or to be something special to become a new Natalia’s hubby. Just sign in and participate.

Today we had a sweet conversation with the main hero of the occasion – Natalia, and we had a splendid opportunity to ask her several questions.

R: Good afternoon, Natalia.  First we want to greet you with the project’s opening and wish you to meet only the best representatives of the stronger sex.

Natalia: Hello. Thank you very much, but I must say that I have in my list not only the representatives of the stronger sex, but also.

R: Oh, wow! How did you feel yourself when the first lady requested to be your wife?

Natalia: Well, it was pretty ok. I wasn’t surprised and I have nothing against the homosexual love. And by the way, I think that love has no sex-belonging unlike the lust.

R: Well said! Ok. We are out of the topic so please tell us why did you start this project?

Natalia: That’s simple. I was chatting a lot on the sites and forums and once I realized that I can’t dedicate much time to my friends anymore because their quantity was enormous. First I stopped using ICQ because I couldn’t physically answer to all of them at the same time. Then I even made a list of the most frequent answers like “thanx. I’m great n what ‘bout u?” or something to that tune but it didn’t help. One day I realized that too much people are offended with me because they thought I ignore them. And I thought about having my own blog but not the simple blog with the simple posts. And I won’t tell you the secrets. Sign in and you will know.

R: Hahahaha! Pretty nice!  Ok. It is not a secret that this blog is not only for your friends but also for your virtual husbands and it is the main direction of the project. How do you manage the question of matrimonial duties?

Natalia: If you are talking about the sex, it is one of those secrets you will clue after subscription.

R: I see. Natalia, do you have maniacs among your husbands?

Natalia: There are a lot of types of characters among my hubbies. But I know that all of them are looking for the same thing and I am trying to satisfy each of them. No matter what or who you are, no matter where you live we have something in common – the need in love. To love and to be loved is the most important thing in the world of all the times.

R: Thank you. And the last question for today. Does your project have any week points? And what are the strong ones?

Natalia: The strong one is that my project helps everybody. I receive hundreds of letters every day with the sincere gratitude. People who feel that they are depressed are getting cured with the knowing that they can get my virtual love and support any time they want. And the virtual side of these relations avoids such problems like scandals, quarrels, jealous and misunderstanding. After my project they find sources to be happy in the real life. The week point…I don’t know. Maybe it is the lack of my free time. This project takes off too much of my time. Well, anyway who knows? This project is too young to show me its week points. Ask me this question next time, please.

R: Thank you very much! We wish you good luck and inspiration!

Natalia: Thank you. It was nice to meet you.

What can I add? Virtual life definitely helps you to fight with some problems and in difficult situations it is sometimes the only way out. But do not forget that reality has a lot of special things too and we must take as much as it’s possible from this life. We have it only once. Just love and be loved!

Marie Osmond is bummed that her new talk show has been canceled before it even had an opportunity to get launched, according to FemaleFirst. Network executives made the decision to save money instead of launching it. Marie said:

“It was my sincere desire to produce an exceptional talk show, produced with the high quality that is associated with the Marie Osmond brand for over four decades.

This project, under proper conditions, still remains a strong passion of mine.”

Poor Marie! I was really looking forward to seeing if Marie was going to have a permanent spot for her brother Donny Osmond like Dr. Phil has for his wife Robin McGraw. However, it sounds like she’s not giving up hope for it – good for her.

In the meantime, Marie and her brother Donny’s gig in Las Vegas will go on for another two years. At least they have that going for them!

Constructive comments are welcome!

I got a recent email from Pop-Eater stating that Miley Cyrus will be doing a cameo on the sexy and provocative sequel to the Sex and the City movie. Actually I have nothing against Miley Cyrus and her growing up, and taking on more mature roles, but I find that she is a little too young to be on that show, even the movie. I know others will say she is the right age and stuff like that, so let’s hear what you all have to say.

Is Miley the right age for Sex and The City, or too young?

The Jackson Family is warring over the in clusion of Michael Jackson’s three children in an upcoming A&E reality show about the clan.

“The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty” is tentatively scheduled to air in December and will include Prince, Paris and Blanket Jackson in the cast, according to a report in Us magazine.

While Janet Jackson is OK with bringing the kids into the show, Jacko’s oldest sibling, Rebbie, 59 — who refuses to be in the show — “feels Michael would spin in his grave if he knew his kids would be on the show,” according to the report.

Officials at A&E yesterday refused to comment on the kids being added to the show.

Michael Jackson, who died June 25 at the of 50, was hugely protective of Prince, 12, Paris, 11 and Prince Michael II, 7, who’s also called “Blanket.” On the rare occasions they ventured out in public, he made the kids wear masks to protect their identities from photographers and gawkers.

Reality TV shows gone mad as now its cats October 12, 2009

We all know reality TV shows have taken over the television world-wide but I think the world has gone mad as now its cats that are on reality TV shows.
Ok if you’re a cat or pet lover this TV show may really appeal to you but I just think this is really weird watching what a cat does all day (sleep for 99% of it I bet), what are they going to do if they are sleeping and want them out of bed (play music of a dog barking I guess).
Anyway to the 23rd of June last year ten cats competed in the US to find their perfect owner on a reality TV programme, just like BB (Big Brother) the cats will complete in tasks and one cat will get the boot each day until a winner is chosen…you got to laugh.

Playboy Reality Show Pits Girls Against Gadgets October 9, 2009

In one silly reality show, a bachelor will choose between a weekend getaway with a beautiful woman and a surprise high-tech toy.

In reality shows, contestants are typically forced to make crucial decisions that could alter their lives forever (or at least for the duration of the 15 minutes of fame). But imagine the anxiety when a geek must decide between spending a weekend with a woman or a big-screen TV?

That’s the premise of Playboy TV’s new “Gadget or the Girl” reality show. During the course of each episode, the guy will “date” three women and eventually settle on a “winner.” He then will be offered a weekend getaway with this lucky gal or, and here comes the dramatic part, a high-tech toy to be revealed after his decision. If the woman is able to make the bachelor select her, she will win a prize of her own.

And what about you? Would you dare to participate in such a show?

Top 10 Best and Worst Reality TV Shows October 3, 2009

The flurry of posts by my female colleagues on movies and TV shows has gone Right. Over. My. Head.

I have never heard of this -whatever movie they are debating. What’s the big whoop?

And although I’ve seen a couple episodes of “Mad Men,” I think the show is boring and unwatchable. I’m way out of my league trying to debate these TV shows that — let’s be frank — don’t have a chance in heck of being on the cover of Us Weekly. So really, why watch?

Go ahead and call me superficial, low-brow, cheesy, trashy, shallow and unsophisticated; I accept all those descriptions.

So I’m not changing the topic to something I am quite the expert on and in which I can join a debate (though I have a feeling no one is going to respond to this post) –again reality TV.

I do not love reality TV: the drama, the, um, reality.

The outside chance that I could see one of the people in real life (Andy Baldwin of “The Bachelor” lives in D.C., though I haven’t had a sighting yet).

Below is my list of the Top 10 Best Reality TV Shows. And by best, I mean most entertaining and most likely to be useful for chats at cocktail parties or girls’ nights.

Following that is my list of the Top 10 Worst Reality Shows. And by worst, I mean most boring and, most annoyingly, occupying valuable covers on Us Weekly.

Top 10 Best Reality TV Shows:

 1. “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” “Real Housewives of New York City” and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” (not “Orange County”)

 2. “The Bachelor ” and “The Bachelorette”

 3. “The Millionaire Matchmaker”

4. “Project Runway”

5. “Dancing with the Stars” (Go Tom DeLay for the win! )

6. “American Idol”

7. “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood”

8. “Denise Richards: It’s Complicated”

9. “Bridezillas” 10. “Celebrity Apprentice” (not as good as “Apprentice,” but worthy of TiVo)

Top 10 Worst Reality TV Shows

 1. “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ (new name: “Jon Hates Kate and Vice Versa”)

2. “The Real World “(taping in D.C. now, but jumped the shark 17 years ago)

3. “Survivor” (jumped the shark 10 years ago)

4. “Big Brother” (jumped the shark after first season)

 5. “I’m a Celebrity, Get me Out of Here” (though TiVo cringe-worthy when horrible Speidi were on)

 6. “The Hills” (plus all the spinoffs, except the original “Laguna Beach”)

7. “The Biggest Loser,” “More to Love” and “Celebrity Fit Club” (all shows about obesity)

 8. “Deal or No Deal”

 9. “Top Chef” and “Iron Chef ” (actually, all reality cooking shows – no wonder we have so many shows at No. 7)

10. “Little People, Big World” (all midget-centric shows)

And what do you think about this?

Today I decided to ask you just a few questions. I’m busy with a case study about realities now, so frankly speaking, I need your help…

Please, spend just a several minutes to answer the following questions:

1.What do you think of reality shows? Do you think they are made out to look better than they actually are, and they are not really reality TV shows?

2.Are you for or against reality TV? Why? Why Not?

3.Have you heard about the reality TV show where 40 children ages 8-15 get to live on their own with no adults? Would you let your own children take part?

4.What would be a good idea for a REAL reality TV show? (based on normal everyday people’s lives)

5.If you had to make your own reality show what would it be? The purpose?
